Impact on Learning Award The Orange High School Media Center received this award from the Council of Educational Facility Planners. It recognizes excellence in new and renovated educational projects across the country that enhance learning through innovative design, engineering and technology solutions.

Siemens Foundation AP Award Orange High School's Advanced Placement (AP) program won the Siemens Foundation Award for top high school in the state of Ohio. One high school per state is selected in recognition of its commitment to students and leadership in AP participation and performance. Schools receive a $1,000 grant awarded from the Siemens Foundation to be used to support math and science education.

National School Board Association Technology and Learning Salute District The Orange School District was recognized as a National School Board Association (NSBA) Technology and Learning Salute District. The district achieved this accomplishment by integrating technology across the school district, and creating an instructional environment where technology is used to support and transform learning experiences.

OAESA Hall of Fame Moreland Hills Elementary School was selected as an Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) Hall of Fame School. Staff submitted extensive written documentation substantiating the quality of their educational program in various areas, including mission statement, instructional system, student achievement, student development, personnel, school management and community. The school was chosen as an OAESA Hall of Fame schools by a committee of principals who reviewed the documentation and another team of principals who conducted on-site evaluations of the school.

National Blue Ribbon School Ballard Brady Middle School was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School. The Blue Ribbon Schools Program has focused on school improvement initiatives. It identifies and recognizing schools that are models of excellence and equity, schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to educational excellence for all students, and that achieve high academic standards or have shown significant academic improvement over five years.

Ohio Award for Excellence Orange High School has received Tier One status in the Ohio Award for Excellence (OAE), the state of Ohio's premier award program recognizing the positive impact of quality. The award criteria covers the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, information and analysis, workforce development, process management and the organizational results achieved.
