Building a Vision for the Next Generation of Learners

Thank you for helping us build a shared vision for the future of Orange Schools. Through our work with the Partnership for Next Generation Learning, we are striving to ensure all students graduate with world-class knowledge and skills from a system that provides a personalized learning experience for students.

We want students to have an authentic voice in how they engage with learning, but we also believe that students should advance through programs only when they reach clear meaningful standards. Lastly, we know learning can occur anytime and everywhere, not just in schools; our students need to have access to comprehensive systems of support from all members of the community if they are to be successful.

Each of the videos you see on this page below presents a small element of our thinking around Next Generation Learning programs. After each video, you can take a survey to give us feedback on the ideas and systems proposed. Your feedback will help us establish a vision which includes success for all students, and which is supported by all members of the school community.

Before watching any videos, we have a brief survey for parents, which is designed to gather current impressions of school work and our systems of evaluation.
