Communications from the Floor
Per Board Bylaw 0169.1, for those wishing to make public comment, participants are to email the Board using the link email the Board on the Orange school's website, and must preface their comments by a statement of their name, address, and group affiliation, if and when appropriate. This form of communication during the Public Participation at Board Meetings portion of the meeting will be memorialized in the official minutes of the meeting with the secretary of the Board referencing, and if appropriate, briefly summarizing the subject of the record. Reading aloud of an email by the BOE during the hearing of the public may occur at the discretion of the presiding officer.
You are welcome to attend in person during the Communications from the Floor portion of the Board meeting only. Masks, social distancing and safety protocols including symptom screening will be in place upon entering the building. Each person will be brought into the meeting one at a time in order to limit the number of people in the room.
