Fourth Graders Prepare Holiday Gift Bags

Students in Mrs. Elana Blake and Mrs. Stephanie Pawlaczyk’s fourth grade classes created gift bags for 37 children at the New Life Community shelter in Cleveland. For the two weeks leading up the holidays, students brought in toys and gifts. Student created a gift bag for each child during their annual holiday party before winter break. The goal was to teach students a way they can help those less fortunate.

Kindergarteners Fill Backpacks for Dignity Project

As part of their dignity project, students in Mrs. Barb Lepene’s Kindergarten class brought in enough socks, coats, mittens, scarves, bookbags, calculators, toiletries and other various goodies to give 18 children in need a backpack full of items.

Orange High School Contributes 560 Pounds of Food for Those in Need

The Student Government Association, the National Honor Society and the Key Club at Orange High School collected 560 pounds of food for the Cleveland Foodbank. This is an increase of nearly 200 pounds in contributions from 365 pounds of food a year ago.
