Fourth Grader Winner of Cuyahoga County Library Contest

April 3, 2012

Congratulations to Moreland Hills School fourth grader Harleigh Markowitz from Mrs. Diane Smith’s class who won the "Things I'd Do if I Ran the Zoo" contest held by the Cuyahoga County Public Library.

In honor of Dr. Suess' birthday, students were to write a rhyme that sounded like Dr. Seuss explaining what they would do if they ran the zoo. Markowitz received four free tickets to visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday, April 29, 2012 for the "Things I'd Do if I Ran the Zoo" event, sponsored by the library. This event will show families about all the work that goes into running the zoo.
