Alumni Donate to Children's Hospital in Memory of Classmate
April 18, 2012
Twenty-seven years after Aadel Askari died of bone cancer at the age of 15, his Orange High School 10th grade classmates are working to preserve his memory by delivering 20 iPads for use in the cancer division of Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Each year a "Celebration of Life" is held on the anniversary of Askari’s death in which more than 200 people attend raising more than $20,000 for the “Aadel Askari No Pain No Gain Foundation.” This year’s "Celebrate of Life" is on August 13, 2012 at the Greeneville Inn in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
