Los Estudiantes de OHS Lograr el Reconocimiento Nacional en el Examen en Español!
Twenty-five world language students from Orange High School attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2012 Level 4 National Spanish Examinations. Students from Orange High School earned a total of one gold, two silver and six bronze medals along with 16 honorable mentions.
Senior Sara Bogomolny won a gold medal, finishing in the 96th percentile. Earning silver medals were juniors Spencer Weiss and Brad Cahn. Earning bronze medals were juniors Camille Rekhson, Rachel Ross, Sarah Young, Jacob Kirsh, Adisa Malik and Cameron Demsey.
Honorable mention was earned by Kurren Bafna, Molly Clark, Ashley Deicher, Anna Furman, Rachel Goulder, Hallie Israel, Katelyn King, Madeline Kinkopf, Hannah Levine, Andrew McGraw-Herdeg, Joshua Rapkin, Brian Ritchken, Emily Sabanegh, Jennifer Shoskes, Evan Wahl, and Ali Wynbrandt. The examinations are administered in hundreds of high schools each year and are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
