OHS Cross Country, Field Hockey Perform Well

Congratulations to the Orange High School cross country team for their best performance of the season. The girls finished as runner-ups at the Wickliffe Cross Country Invitational and the boys team finished third.
Earning medals were Kent Nakamoto, Keifer Wiley, Erika Kess, Liz Kaplan, Drew Schlachter, Maggie Orosz, and Alex Schoellkopf. Special congratulations go to Clare Ubersax who finished in first place among all girl runners with a personal best time of 21 minutes and 6 seconds.
Congratulations to OHS field hockey on a 2-0 victory over Cleveland Heights. Goalie Valerie Russell's shut out was supported by goals by Claire Young and Megan Shanklin assisted by Alyx Raupp, Megan Shanklin and Claire Young.
