Congratulations Will Carter - Division I Scholarship!

Congratulations to Orange High School senior Will Carter who signed his letter of intent today to attend classes and play Division I football for Bucknell University this fall! Will earned a full athletic scholarship.
Friends, family, teammates, teachers, administrators and coaches were on hand for the signing.

Will played football and ran track for the OHS Lions. Academically, he earned a 3.575 cumulative Grade Point Average.
On the football field in 2012, Will made 62 receptions totaling 870 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also rushed for 146 yards. He broke or tied five school records including:
- Receptions in a game - 17
- Receiving yards in a game - 191
- Receiving touchdowns in a game - 3
- Receptions in a season - 62
- Touchdowns in a season - 10
He was named "First Team-Chagrin Valley Conference" and "Northeast Ohio Lakes Region First Team" as a wide receiver for both. He also made "All State Division III Third Team" in that position.
Will was outstanding in track for the Lions. He was the 2012 Chagrin Valley Conference Most Valuable Player in Track & Field. He also placed 7th in 200m and 3rd Place in Long Jump at States.
