OHS Teacher Mark Burkhart Earns Innovation Award

RSS FeedCongratulations to Orange High School social studies teacher Mark Burkhart on earning an Innovative Educator award from WVIZ/PBS Education Advisory Council.
The purpose of this award is to showcase educators who can share outstanding examples of integrating technology into teaching and learning. Mr. Burkhart was nominated by Orange technology integration specialist Ms. Jennette Kane, and selected by the Steering Committee.
“The Steering Committee was very impressed by the quality of [his] nomination,” stated Laurie Switzer, PreK-16 Outreach and Special Projects Coordinator for WVIZ/IdeaStream.
Innovative Educators are asked to share a demonstration, an overview of exemplary methodologies, and innovative integration of technology in teaching and/or technology used to create student products.
