Congratulations OHS Mock Trial Team: State Runner-Up!

MOCK TRIAL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FINALISTS!!!

Orange High School's Mock Trial "Team Shanghai" finished in the FINAL TWO in the State Championship, earning accolades from all of the judging panelists for the group's exceptional work! Senior Hannah Levine (top row, 2nd from left) took home the title of "Best Witness" in the State Finals!

The student team began its quest at the District and Regional levels and was invited with two other Orange teams to compete at the State level. Last Friday, Team Shanghai defeated both Westerville North and Archbishop Hoban to move into the State Championship position where the team competed against the very strong defending Mock Trial champion Indian Hill High School from Cincinnati.

The State Championship Trial was held at the State House in Columbus on Saturday morning, March 9th. It was broadcast live on The Ohio Channel as well as streamed live at http://www.ohiochannel.org/.

Team Shanghai is comprised of OHS students Shivangi Bhatia, Evan Wahl, Camille Rekhson, Cameron Demsey, Kurren Bafna, Hannah Levine, Matt Fisher, and Jacob Kirsh.
