It's All in the Science!

Brady Middle School students once again amazed the judges recently at the annual Science Fair organized by Gifted Intervention Specialist Jennifer McGeown.

Nearly three dozen students created 17 projects ranging from how contagious yawns really are to how color changes on tests influence the answers.

Trophies were awarded to the following students: 1st Place: Eighth graders AJ Chardiet and Ben Stuk for their study of space suits that could survive the environment of Venus; 2nd Place: Seventh grader Ava Rezaee for her study of the size of parachutes; and 3rd Place: Sixth graders Jasmine Shone and Anna Wolf for their study of moisture levels in cupcakes.

Honorable Mentions went to sixth grader Kaitlin Alarafi and seventh graders Xavier Arnold, Rohit Kashyap and Allie Yuan.

All of the nine judges have worked in a science field and understood and applied the scientific method to each project.

Congratulations to all of our bright and talented students!
