Orange Excel TECC Students Inducted Into National Technical Honor Society
Congratulations to the Orange High School students in the Excel TECC program who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society today. These students had to achieve a 3.5 overall GPA and a 4.0 GPA in their program to be eligible for this honor.
Those who were inducted include Maya Cohen, Nick Erholm, Autumn Key, Jordan Leb, Calia Schold and Zach Saxton.
The National Technical Honor Society honors the achievements of top Career Technical Education (CTE) students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For more than 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.
The Excel TECC career technical consortium serves the 10 school districts of Aurora, Beachwood, Chagrin Falls, Mayfield, Orange, Richmond Heights, Solon, South Euclid-Lyndhurst, West Geauga, and Willoughby-Eastlake. It offers more than 25 unique programs. Excel TECC’s primary objective is to prepare students to enter a 4-year college, a two-year technical school or the career of their choosing.
