All In The Name of Science
November 30, 2017
Congratulations to the more than 50 BMS students who submitted projects for the 2017 BMS Science Fair coordinated by Gifted Teacher Jennifer McGeown! The results are in!

First place went to seventh grader Daniel Suh (pictured, left) who explored the question, 'What type of battery lasts longest?" Second place went to eighth graders Ava Rezaee and Allie Yuan who asked "Does looking at a picture have a lasting effect on memory, or do words?" Third place went to seventh graders Sean Lipton, Lindsey Wang, and Laura Wei who explored "Can we make an easy and affordable thermoelectric generator?"

Honorable Mentions were also awarded in each grade. Those went to: Farah Adhami, Lily Boardman, Katie Lee, Allison Alarafi, Jasmine Shone, Anna Wolf and Anna Vaytsman. We are proud of all of our aspiring scientists!
