Congratulation to Dr. Rebecca Boyle and Mrs. Deborah Kamat on their election and Mr. Jeff Leikin on his re-election to the Orange Schools Board of Education. Their new terms will begin in January 2018. They will serve on the Board with Beth Wilson-Fish and Melanie Weltman.Welcome - Dr. Rebecca Boyle
Dr. Boyle is a the mother of two children who attend the Orange Schools. She and her family live in Orange Village. She is a member of the Orange Boosters. She holds multiple college degrees including a Ph.D. in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron. A lifelong educator, she has taught special education, worked as a school counselor, and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Akron, Cleveland State University, Northcentral University and Walden University. She currently serves as the Director of the Clinic for Individual and Family Counseling at the University of Akron.
Welcome - Mrs. Deborah Kamat
Mrs. Kamat has two children who graduated from Orange High School. She and her husband live in Orange Village. She has been a parent volunteer for Orange Athletics, Destination Imagination, Stagecrafters, Expect Respect, and a local Brownie troop. She has dedicated her life to education by serving as a public school teacher, a private school board member, and an attorney and mediator for the U.S. Department of Education. She has coached Cleveland students in city-wide mock trial competition and has served as a judge for the national college mock trial competition. She currently serves as the Director of Compliance/Title IX and Disability Coordinator at Ursuline College.
Congratulations - Mr. Jeff Leikin
Mr. Leikin begins his second term on the Orange Board of Education. He was first elected in 2014. He is a 1977 graduate of Orange High School. He and his family live in Pepper Pike and have three children in the Orange Schools. He is a life member of the Orange Alumni Association, as well as, a member of Orange Boosters. He helps the Orange High School Mock Trial Team prepare for competition. He has coached youth sports in the District. He earned a college degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He currently run his own law practice.

Mrs. Cohen has served on the Board of Education since 2012. She chose not to run for re-election. She and her family live in Orange Village. Her three children all graduated from Orange High School.

Mrs. Fellowes is finishing her third term on the Board of Education. She chose not to run for re-election. She was first elected in 2006. She and her family live in Pepper Pike. She has three children who all attended Orange Schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade and graduated from Orange High School.
