School Resource Officer Valuable Asset to Students

SRO Todd instructing Brady students on ALICE training

There was some misleading information in the media recently regarding the credentials of School Resource Officers across Northeast Ohio.

To set the record straight, Officer Todd Bennett of the Pepper Pike Police Department has served the Orange Schools as a fully credited School Resource Officer (SRO) since 2004. He is currently certified by the Ohio School Resource Officers Association (OSROA) as a MASTER SRO.

Officer Todd is a proven and valuable asset to students, families, administrators and staff members. He continues to develop a positive connection with our students with a focus on prevention initiatives and proactive intervention. He has taught in classrooms, been involved in community forums, and is actively involved with various school safety and security committees. Thank you for all you do, Officer Todd!
