BMS 7th Grade Accelerated Language Arts Students Extend Study with Visit Maltz Museum Visit
Brady Middle School’s seventh grade accelerated language arts students, their families and teachers recently had the opportunity to visit The Maltz Museum of Jewish History in Beachwood to see an incredible exhibit called "The Power of Nazi Propaganda." The evening program and exhibit focused on how Nazi Germany was able to persuade a country's beliefs. This event was an extension to the students’ book club study. They had completed a thorough study of “The Book Thief “- an unforgettable and emotional World War II and Holocaust novel.
Brady seventh grade accelerated language arts teachers have been working really hard to create advanced and rigorous opportunities such as this for their students. The goal is to challenge their inquisitive minds, engage them in higher-order thinking, teach them to grapple with complex topics, and help them learn how to be critically thinking individuals.
