Thanking the Community For Its Feedback
May 15, 2015 - A special thank you to all of the Orange City School District residents who attended the May 11, 2015 community presentation regarding the future of Brady Middle School. Information on the physical condition of the facility and the school’s 21st Century curriculum was shared along with various pathways for improvement. The options included building renovation, expansion and replacement. Our middle school teachers organized and conducted tours of Brady that were well received. The questions and feedback collected from the community that night will be invaluable as the Orange Schools Board of Education and School Administration move forward on the District’s FutureVision Master Facilities Plan.
A webpage is in development that will provide the community with an opportunity to watch a video of the recent presentation, review information and share additional thoughts and questions online. Stay tuned!
For the last several years, the District’s Buildings and Grounds Committee has studied the structural and educational capacity of Brady Middle School. The next step will be to use this information along with the feedback collected during the presentation, on the webpage, in the recent community survey and in previous community events to assist with making a recommendation for the Board of Education to consider.
