OHS Seniors View Their MHS America the Beautiful Artwork
May 20, 2014
It has been more than a decade since then Moreland Hills Elementary School kindergartners painted tribute photos depicting the lyrics to the patriotic song "America the Beautiful" following the tragic events of 9/11. These paintings were originally showcased in the Atrium at Hillcrest Hospital and then displayed at the school for many years.

Those kindergartners are now graduating seniors; two of those students had the opportunity recently to return to MHS where they had a chance to view their work. Orange High School seniors Sky Yelsky-Williams (left) and Matthew Schiff (right) point out their artworks, reflecting the words "For Amber Waves of Grain" and "For Purple Mountain Majesties."
