Let's Stock the Shelves to Help Our Community!

11/11/2016

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, Orange High School students are making an effort to help those who are hungry in our community by collecting food for the Garfield Memorial Church Food Pantry. The OHS Key Club, National Honor Society, and Student Government are collecting food through November 18, 2016. Collection stations are set up at the front door of the High School, in Student Services, and in the Media Center.

The food pantry will also be stocked with items collected this week during the Brady Middle School Builders Club’s Food Drive.

Items needed include canned pumpkin, canned onion rings, canned vegetables, creamy soups, stuffing mix, bread and roll mixes, brownie and cake mixes, instant potatoes, gravy, condensed milk, canned cranberries and canned fruit, noodles, cereal, mac-n-cheese, oatmeal, sauces, paper towels, cleaning products and any other non-perishable foods.
