OHS Freshman Among Best in Science Competitions
Orange High School freshman Stuti Dalal earned three awards in recent science competitions. At the 63rd Annual Northeastern Ohio Science & Engineering Fair (NEOSEF) held at Cleveland State University, she won first place in the Biology category. At the BEST Medicine Competition she was awarded second place in Health and Medicine Category. She also competed at the District 5 Ohio Academy of Science Competition at the University of Akron and won third place in the Biochemistry category and qualified to compete at the state level in May. Her project was titled, "Local Anesthesia Prevents Nerve Sprouting In A Culture Model of Inflammatory Pain."
