OHS 9th Grader Earns Superior Marks at STEM Fair!
February 11, 2016
Congratulations to OHS ninth grader Stuti Dalal who won a Superior Award at the 2016 Regional STEM Project Fair held at Kent State University and now moves on to compete at the District level!
Stuti’s project is entitled “Local Anesthesia Prevents Nerve Sprouting in a Culture Model of Inflammatory Pain.” The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Fair is sponsored by the NEOHSTEM Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting science education. The fair evaluated projects designed by middle and high school students from around Northeast Ohio. More than 300 students participated in the fair and less than half were invited to move on to Districts.
Congratulations Stuti, and good luck at the District competition!
