OHS Wrestler, Mock Trial Teams Headed to States!

Congratulations and best of luck (and skill!) to our three Mock Trial teams (Teams Apollo, Ares and Zeus) and wrestler Adam Kirsh who are all headed to State-level competitions this week!
All of the students involved were sent off in style as the OHS Drum Line and Lionettes Drill Team marched the regional champions through the halls of the high school where they were greeted and cheered on by their peers and staff for their accomplishments.

The Mock Trial team members include Team Apollo: Clare Ubersax (Captain), Shelby Ingram, Chris Jin, Melissa Ma, Max Simon, Gabe Sugerman, Andrew Swift, and Demi Zhang; Team Ares: Poojajeet Khaira (Captain), Alisa Hill, Eva Rudow, Ned Sabanegh, Emma Saks, Rebekah Shuffer, Emily Stankovic, Ray Weisberg and Nolan Wiley; and Team Zeus: Tejas Kashyap (Captain), Eben Carek, Zayn Dweik, Liz Kaplan, Ben Levine, Andrew Levy, Ian Newman and Juan Sanabria. Advisors are Dave Chordas and Mark Kimball. These students represent three of the top 32 teams in the state competition which began with 386 teams. OHS senior Adam Kirsh is also heading to Columbus to compete in the State Wrestling Tournament. A fourth-year varsity wrestler, Kirsh has a 21-3 record this season, including a 3-0 mark in the CVC tournament.

We wish all of our amazing OHS students (and staff) the very best in Columbus!!!
