The Orange High School Thespians proudly present the OHS Spring Musical, "Catch Me If You Can" this *Saturday, March 14 at 7pm and *Sunday, March 15 at 1pm in the OHS Auditorium.
The high-flying musical comedy about chasing dreams and not getting caught is produced by Wendy Scott-Koeth and directed by Richard Hinkelman with music direction by Claire Connelly and choreography by Hannah Cohen. The stage version is similar to the 2002 DreamWorks film of the same name and based on a true story. Frank Abagnale, Jr. (played in this production by OHS senior David Holbert) worked as a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, and as a co-pilot for a major airline, all without a degree and all before Frank Jr.'s 18th birthday. FBI Agent Carl Hanratty (played by OHS senior Ben Levine) was obsessed with the mission of capturing Frank who always seemed to be one step ahead of him.
With Book by Terrence McNally and Score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, "Catch Me If You Can" is being performed with special permission from Music Theatre International. Tickets are available at the door for $10 each.
