MHS Students Make a Difference One Cup At A Time
May 13, 2015
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! That's the motto behind "Alex's Lemonade Stand," a national foundation to help raise funds to eliminate pediatric cancer.  It's a cause the second graders in Mrs. Vishala Raj's class have taken on again with this year's theme "Kick Out Cancer!"

Throughout the week, the second graders are selling pink and yellow lemonade (50 cents/small cup or $1 for a large cup) during lunch hours at Moreland Hills Elementary School.  Please send in your loose change with your student for a cold cup of lemonade that will help these second graders eradicate pediatric cancer one cup at a time.  You may donate directly by clicking here.

The second graders also created a commercial to help raise awareness for their cause. You can help them win their contest by viewing the commercials here and then voting for the MHS commercial!

Watch the commercial, vote for MHS, make a donation, send in your change, drink a nice, cold glass of pink or yellow lemonade...and make a difference!
