Board of Education
The Orange Board of Education normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings take place in the Pepper Pike Learning Center on the Orange Schools Campus.

The Orange Schools Board of Education members now serving are:
Jennifer Cohen, Term: 2012-2013, 2014-2017 Jennifer is a 13 year resident of Orange Village where she and her husband reside with their three children, who attend Orange Schools. She has served on the board of the Orange Schools Foundation for five years, including three years as Co-President and grant committee chair. She is on Orange High School’s After-Prom committee and is a hospitality co-chair. Jennifer is a volunteer with the OHS swim team and with Stagecrafters theater group through Orange Community Education and Recreation. She has worked more than 25 years in Human Resources Management and currently is Senior Vice President of Leadership Development at Ratliff & Taylor, a locally based Human Resources consulting firm. President Dagmar Fellowes, Term: 2006-2009, 2010-2013, 2014-2017 Dagmar is a corporate attorney at Progressive Insurance and a graduate of Harvard Law School. She lives in Pepper Pike with her husband Ted and their three children, all of whom attend or graduated from the Orange Schools. She actively volunteers with Orange High School PTA, Orange Elementary PTA, Orange Patronaires and the OHS Swim Team parent group. She volunteered on the 2004 Orange Schools Levy Committee, as well. She also serves as a trustee for Western Reserve Academy and was on the board of the Pepper Pike Civic League and the Cleveland Racquet Club. Dagmar can be reached at 216.831.1084. e-mail
Jeff Leikin, Term: 2014-2017 Jeff is a graduate of Orange Schools and currently has three children in the school system. He has coached youth baseball for the former OCAA and the current Orange Recreation leagues. He is a lifetime member of the Orange Alumni Association and the Orange Boosters. Jeff is a partner in the law firm of Nurenberg, Paris, Heller and McCarthy. He is a graduate of Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. 216-870-7159. e-mail
Melanie Weltman, Term 2013, 2014-2017 Melanie is a graduate of Orange Schools and currently has children in the school system. She has served with the Orange Schools PTAs for 11 years, including two years as Elementary PTA president. In her time with the PTA, she has chaired various activities and spent time as a building representative for Brady Middle School. She is a member of the Orange Alumni Association and the Orange Boosters. She is involved in the community through her service as a Board member with both the Orange Area Service Committee and Park Synagogue. 216-378-6989. e-mail
Vice-President Angela Wilkes, Term: 2012-2015 Angela is a resident of Pepper Pike and a 16 year dedicated volunteer for Orange Schools. She and her husband Gary Wilkes, M.D., are proud parents of Orange High School honor graduates, Stephen Alexander Wilkes, M.D. and David Alan Wilkes. Angela is the Vice President of Wilkes Mental Health Consultants and a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She and her husband are partners in their 25 year psychiatry and counseling practice in Beachwood. She brings the highest ethical standards and commitment to her profession and community service. Angela has served as an Orange Schools Foundation Trustee, a 2004 operating levy campaign co-chair and is the Orange High School Sister to Sister Program founder and mentor.
