Board of Education

The Orange Board of Education normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings take place in the Pepper Pike Learning Center on the Orange Schools Campus.

The public is welcome to attend all Board of Education meetings. To confirm meeting times and locations, please contact our administrative offices at 216.831.8600.

The Orange Schools Board of Education members now serving are:

Tom Bonda, Term: 2000-2003, 2004-2007, 2008-2011 Tom works for the Cleveland Cavaliers as Director of Business Development for the Lake Erie Monsters, their American Hockey League team. Tom and his wife, Jodi, live in Pepper Pike and have three children. Two, having graduated from the Orange Schools, are presently attending college and one is currently enrolled in the Orange Schools. Tom was Co-Chair of the district's successful 1998 Bond issue campaign. He also served on the Board of the Orange Schools Foundation. He is involved with various committees and organizations in the Orange Schools community. Tom can be reached at 216.831.5877.

Vincent Carbone, Term: 2006-2009 Vince is a member of Carbone Properties, a real estate investment firm. He and his wife, Wendy, live in Pepper Pike and have three children, one who currently attends the Orange Schools and two who graduated from Orange High School. He was a board member for eight years with the Orange Community Athletic Association and for the past five years with Orange Community Education and Recreation. Vince can be reached at 440.473.1208.

Cindy Eickhoff, Term: 1996-1999, 2000-2003, 2004-2007, 2008-2011 Cindy lives in Pepper Pike with her husband Ric and has a son who is an Orange High School alumnus. She is a five-time Board President, with a background in substitute teaching and school volunteering. Cindy is also a member of the Orange Arts Council, a former PTA President, and an Orange Boosters Trustee. She serves on various Board committees, including community relations, educational programs, and operations/business services. Cindy can be reached at 216.292.5629.

President Dagmar Fellowes, Term: 2006-2009 Dagmar is an attorney and a graduate of Harvard Law School. She lives in Pepper Pike with her husband Ted and their three children, two who currently attend the Orange Schools and one who graduated from Orange High School. She served as the fund-raising chairwoman for the Orange High School PTA. Dagmar was a volunteer for the 2004 Orange Schools Levy Committee. She also served as a trustee for both the Pepper Pike Civic League and Western Reserve Academy and was a Board member for the Cleveland Racquet Club. Dagmar can be reached at 216.831.1084.

Vice-President Stanley Morganstern, Term: 2006-2009 Stanley is an attorney and managing partner for Morganstern, MacAdams and DeVito Co., L.P.A. He resides in Pepper Pike with his wife, Paulette. Their three children all graduated from Orange High School. Stanley is a past trustee and officer for the Orange Schools Boosters. He is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Bar Foundation. He also is an adjunct professor for the University of Phoenix. Stanley can be reached at 216.292.7244.
