Monday, August 30
- There will be an OMA meeting on Thursday, Sept. 2, after school in Room 215. Please plan to attend
- There will be a Male Minority Leaders meeting this Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in Room 126.
- All SGA members and officers: mandatory meeting at 2:30 right after school on Wednesday in the staff lunchroom.
- There will be a brief sign up meeting for all boys and girls interested in the high school swimming and diving team this Wednesday, Sept. 1, immediately after school in the pool area.
- Congratulations to both the men and women cross country teams for an excellent performance at the Willoughby Invitational on Saturday. Many of the athletes achieved personal best times during this event. Keifer Wiley led the guys with a time of 19 minutes and 7 seconds, and Allie Thornton led the ladies with a time of 23 minutes and 23 seconds. Congratulations to the cross country teams!
- A reminder to juniors: your junior dues are $25.00. Sell just 10 items and you pay no dues!
- Students interested in being a part of the yearbook staff: there will be a meeting on Tuesday, August 31, in the Media Center. If you cannot attend, but still wish to be a part of the yearbook staff, please contact either Mr. McNulty or Mrs. Cingel.
- If you cannot log into ProgressBook: ProgressBook log-in problems are being fixed. You will receive a letter at home that will have new log-in information.
- Faculty and Students: if you would like to volunteer to help at the second annual Orange Cross Country Invitational, it would be sincerely appreciated. Anyone interested can sigh up in the Athletic Office during the day. The event is on Saturday, September 4, from 8-10:30 a.m.

- Orange Lions sports fans: HUGE boy’s soccer game tonight!! Come watch your Lions battle the Hawken Hawks, at home tonight at 7:00 p.m. sharp to see the hammer being thrown down.
- This week’s athletes of the week are: Ayako Tanaka for girls’ soccer and Nate Terhune for football. Congratulations to both Ayako and Nate. Their photos will be displayed in the high school and at Heinen’s. These athletes should see Mrs. Price in Room 104 to have their photo taken.
