  • MHS and BMS have instituted weekly “Green Moments” for the morning announcements to educate students about environmental facts
  • The Brady Environment Club and Art Club have worked together after school to create a landscape mural onto which 17 trees will be added every time the paper recycling bin is emptied; foresting as opposed to de-foresting.
  • MHS has initiated paper recycling.   Every classroom now has a paper collection receptacle.
  • The MHS Earth Day celebration culminated in a “pie in the face” experience for Mr. Haag by two fourth grade students.  The fourth grade was the winner that week for the least of amount of lunch waste.
  • In May, a performance was brought to MHS entitled the “50’s Rock ‘n Roll Environmental Show.  It was a musical countdown of the things we can do to help the environment.
