Food Service Information
The Food Service Department of Orange Schools serves food that is prepared at the school. No more pre-packaged food! This is to give our students the "freshest, most nutritious, and tastiest" food served at the proper temperature. Food Service Coordinator Cindy Finohr, a Registered Dietitian, now provides a nutrition analysis of the lunch menus..
The nutrients are based on a five-day average and meet the Recommended Daily Allowances for K-6. The menus also meet the Healthy School Lunch Guidelines and the American Heart Association Guidelines for the percentage of calories that come from fat (<30%) and saturated fat (<10%).
