Special Education at Orange City Schools embraces the notion that children with disabilities receive services that are appropriate to meet their needs. We have established a series of beliefs based upon those created by the school district. Our Credo is as follows:
We believe students must be served in an environment that is nurturing, compassionate and supportive.
- We believe all students will learn and achieve high results when provide with engaging individualizes activities through a continuum of services.
- We believe that all special education staff will be supportive of one another.
- We believe special education will be a collaboration between families, teachers, students and administration.
