2019 Quality Profile

  • Orange City School District, Moreland Hills Schools and Brady Middle School all earned the Ohio Department of Education's Momentum Award for exceeding expectations in student growth & earning straight A’s on all Value-Added measures on the state report card. Brady also received an Overall “A” Award for demonstrating high academic performance and building bright futures for students of every background and ability level. 

    The Value-Added measure indicates that students demonstrated growth beyond the expected outcomes, as measured by the State of Ohio in overall student achievement, gifted, lowest 20 percent, and students with disabilities. The grade of A is equal to two years' growth


  • The Orange Inclusive Preschool earned five stars in the "Step Up To Quality" rating system. This is a tiered quality-rating and improvement system for early learning and development programs in Ohio. Participating programs can earn a rating from one to five-stars by meeting Ohio's quality program standards
  • Orange Math Teachers Stacy Beacher and Kim Lentz both received the 2019 Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics Northeast District “Outstanding Teacher Award.” 

  • Orange Bus Drivers ruled the road by representing half the Regional Team’s drivers at State Bus Safety Road-e-o

  • The Kiwanis of Lander Circle and the Orange Schools celebrated 30 years of recognizing Orange Schools staff with the annual Kiwanis Awards.
