Student Services
A variety of services provides options to ensure all students receive individualized instruction, enrichment, and support.
In this section of the Quality Profile, we share some of the services the Orange City School District provides our students.
The Orange City School District provides academic interventions for students of all needs. For example, math and reading intervention at Moreland Hills School or inclusion services at Orange High School
Book Buddies connects preschool children and middle school students with high school buddies who read stories and form relationships. Those relationships enable the students to collaborate on academic skills such as letter identification, sounds, and vocabulary. Eager to mentor their younger counterparts, the high school students have worked on a wide range of literacy skills with preschoolers and middle school students
Seven school guidance counselors assist students throughout the District, including two each at the elementary and middle schools, and three at the high school
