Help Fight Back at Relay for Life on May 20, 6PM to Midnight
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of the Orange Schools Communities will take place on, Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6 p.m. to Midnight at Orange High School on the Main Drive. Relay is FUN event that allows everyone to Fight Back!

Last year, 200 people participated in the Relay For Life of the Orange Schools Communities and raised $50,014. Some Highlights for the 2016 Entertainment Schedule include:
Throughout the entire event there will be food, fun, games, and MORE to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society and the programs they offer.
- 6PM – Opening Ceremony and Cancer Survivors Lap and Recognition (Remarks by several local dignitaries as well)
- 6:45PM – Kids Lap led by the Orange HS Drum Line
- 7:30PM – Buffalo Wild Wings – Wing eating contest
- 8:30PM – Luminaria Ceremony – Candles will be lit In Memory of, In Honor, and In Support, of those who have won, lost, or are currently battling Cancer.
- 9:30PM – Orange High School Alum, Keifer Wiley
Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society save lives by funding groundbreaking cancer research, supporting education and risk reduction efforts, and providing free information and critical services for people with cancer who need them. In addition to the support of the community, Relay For Life of the Orange Schools Communities is also supported by many businesses and organizations. The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. Relay For Life events are community gatherings where teams and individuals gather at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Teams participate in fundraising in the months leading up to the event as well as the day of the event.
