MHS Among Best in "Selling Bee"
Congratulations to six Moreland Hills School fourth graders for their recognition in the Young Entrepreneur Institute's "Selling Bee." Dina Rubin was selected as an overall winner for her project entitled, "Therapy Fire." She will receive an award on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at a ceremony honoring Top Five Overall Winners being held at Mitchell's Ice Cream Kitchen in Cleveland. Five of her MHS classmates were selected among the 20 semifinalists for this contest, including Lucy Campbell for “Care Cards,” Nash Cook for “Pancake Muffins,” Ben Wei for “Ben's Science Club,” Amelia Horvat for “Care Cookies,” and Ariel Page for “Ariel the Magnificent Maid.”
“The Selling Bee” is an entrepreneurship contest that Mrs. Jean Mezger’s students took part in this year. Young Entrepreneur Institute reaches students in grades K – 12 through a wide variety of institutions and supports the broader youth entrepreneurship ecosystem with community-wide programs for kids and educators.
