2016 Quality Profile Released Online
The Orange City School District is proud to announce today the release of its 2016 Quality Profile. This report encompasses various accountability measures, educational measures, student successes and learning opportunities that do not appear on the State report card.

With all the changes and controversies surrounding state testing over the last several years, we wanted to share with you some information on how the Orange City School District is responding to the most recent assessments. 
The Social U Evening Program to Focus on Student Social Media, Sept 15
The Social U will present an evening program that all Orange School District parents and students are invited to attend in the Orange High School auditorium on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. This program is one of the first technology platforms that scans and grades a student’s social media for the kinds of posts that can give college admissions officers or potential employers pause. 
Community Night, Rally Towel Giveaway, Salute to First Responders Sept 9
Orange Community Night and Rally Towel Giveaway is set for Friday, September 9, 2016 beginning at 5 p.m. outside Orange High School stadium and will feature: food trucks, a bounce house, spirit wear, OHS Marching Lions Band, the Lionettes, OHS Cheerleaders, first responder vehicles and more. Wear read, white and blue to support our local first responders. This event happens prior to OHS Lions varsity football game at 7 p.m. 
It's Movie Night at OHS on Sept 10th: The Jungle Book
The Class of 2018 invites the community to join them at the Orange High School multi-use facility to see the movie, “The Jungle Book” on September 10, 2016 at 8 p.m. The event is free, with a suggested $5 donation. This event is sponsored by the OHS Class of 2018 and the OHS Boosters. **PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION** 
Lander Circle Kiwanis Recognizes 2016 Staff Members of the Year!
Congratulations to our Lander Circle Kiwanis Staff Members of the Year: Matt Parrotta (Elementary Teacher of the Year); Jim Vaca (Middle School Teacher of the Year); Kathy Frazier (High School Teacher of the Year) and Mark Genovese (Staff Member of the Year)!
