OHS Student Recognized for Third Time at Intel ISEF image OHS Student Recognized for Third Time at Intel ISEF
At a special awards ceremony held on May 18, 2017 during the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), Orange High School senior Michael Litt earned two awards for his project "MATCHLESS: A Linear Algebraic Approach to Duplicate File Identification." His recognitions include a First Place Award from Mu Alpha Theta, National High School and Two-Year College Mathematical Sciences Honor Society, and an Honorable Mention in "Science of Security" from the National Security Agency Research Directorate.

Orange City School District once again received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International for having met or exceeded the program’s high standards for financial reporting and accountability. Orange was recognized for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending 2016.

Two Orange Schools bus drivers were hailed as heroes at Monday night's Board meeting by State Senator Yuko, Mayor Renda, and others after the drivers' quick thinking saved the life of a colleague.

Great job by our students and staff! Orange High School rated sixth in the state and third in Northeast Ohio in the recently released "America’s Most Challenging High Schools 2017" rankings by The Washington Post.

Congratulations Orange High School students and staff! Orange finished in the top 5 percent of high schools nationally in U.S. News and World Report's annual "Best High Schools in America" awards for 2017. OHS placed 8th in Northeast Ohio.
