The Buildings and Grounds Department ensures full compliance with all state-mandated guidelines related to safety, security, building construction and maintenance codes, capital improvements, integrated pest management, and workplace health, safety, and risk management practices.

Maintenance staff are responsible for plumbing, electrical, heating, and general repairs across all District buildings. They also maintain the lawns, athletic fields, and playgrounds on District property, perform snow removal, transport District supplies, and support other departments as needed.

Custodial staff maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all District buildings. They provide support throughout the school day and during after-hours events, and they are also available to respond to emergency maintenance issues.
