Congratulations to OHS senior Gabriel Feinberg who has been named the Kiwanis “Senior of the Month” for December 2023!
Gabe is definitely no stranger to the spotlight but most enjoys being an active part of his multiple communities. An aspiring musical theater performer, “Gabe” is the Student Government Association Class President and has been a member all four years. He is the Israeli Culture Club President, the OHS Drama Club Vice President, and a member of both the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. A student in the Chagrin Falls Academy for the Performing Arts Excel TECC program, Gabe most recently performed in the lead role of Percy Jackson in “The Lightning Thief.” He has also performed regionally with Mercury Theater Company, Heights Youth Theater, and in productions at Orange High School. For the past two years Gabe has served as a Podcast Host.
When not wearing a microphone, Gabe can be found on the sidelines as a photographer for OHS sports and media events and is a published children’s book author. Proceeds from the sale of his book went to a local non-profit that assists individuals with health-related issues. Gabe’s service experience has had him volunteering with Broadway Buddies, the Kiwanis Rummage Sales and Egg Hunts, his synagogue retreat, GLAMOURgals (a program that provides local elders with companionship), the MTC Teen Board, and the OHS Amnesty International Club for four years.
Not one to sit still for very long, Gabe participated in the Camp Wise Israel Leadership Summer Program and has been actively involved with Camp Wise for seven years. He works as a Team Member at Mitchell’s Ice Cream and was recently promoted to “Team Leader.”
Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements. We thank the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support and congratulate Gabriel Feinberg as the December 2023 Kiwanis Student of the Month!
