annual Brady Middle School Science Fair award winnerThe annual Brady Middle School Science Fair under the direction of adviser Lisa Foster was another huge success! With gratitude to our judges Dr. Michael Rowan, Dr. Steven Leidich, Katie Theiss, David Tirpak and Ryan Fauldhauer, the students not only had the opportunity to research and present their projects, but they also had the opportunity to discuss their methodology with science career professionals. First place went to 8th grader Joseph Chaisson for his project, “Musical Memory”. A three-way tie for second place went to 8th graders Zeynep Berber for “Does Smell Affect Taste?”, Jaya Dixit for “Perception of Time”, and Calvin Schroer for “Natural Sugars vs. Artificial Sugar for Baking Sugar Cookies.” Third place went to 6th graders Mark Khramoy and Aidan Tong for “Perfect Roller Coaster Physics” with an Honorable Mention to 6th grader Hunter Greenberg for “Does PSI Matter?” Special thanks to Heather Landskroner who created the award plaques in the BMS FabLab. Congratulations to all of our student scientists on their amazing work
