Orange High School Musical Theater Department was recently nominated for Best Student Orchestra by Playhouse Square Dazzle Awards its performance in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” musical this spring. Also, OHS junior Emily Chiu was accepted into the Dazzle Awards and Playhouse Square Musical Apprenticeship Program.This is the fourth consecutive year that the OHS Orchestra has been nominated for the Best Student Orchestra award and the second consecutive year that an OHS student has been accepted into the Musical Apprenticeship program.

The 2024 Dazzle Awards presented by Pat and John Chapman celebrates the onstage and offstage work of students from a record-breaking 37 schools across seven Northeast Ohio counties. The 2024 Dazzle Awards Ceremony takes place at the KeyBank State Theatre on Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m.
