The PreK–12 Student Assessment Family Overview Guide provides families with a clear summary of the district’s required state and local assessments. These assessments play a vital role in monitoring progress, identifying learning needs, guiding instruction, and meeting state requirements.

This guide outlines testing dates, grade-level expectations, and descriptions of key assessments, including Ohio’s State Tests, the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, NWEA MAP Growth, Dyslexia screeners, the SAT Suite of Assessments, and more. Our goal is to ensure transparency, foster collaboration with families, and create a shared understanding of how assessments help support student learning.

Each student’s OST score is available in the Parent Portal. Use this resource to interpret scores. Spring Ohio State Test (OST) Family Reports will be sent home with students in the Fall.
