For the sixth consecutive year, the Orange City School District has earned the distinction of "Best Community for Music Education" from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). The lengthy application process looks at staffing, scheduling, community support, and other resources available to enhance music education.

Two teams of Moreland Hills School fourth grade students have qualified for the semi-finals of the Mott Million Dollar National Pitch Competition in Flint, Michigan this summer. The qualifying teams of Asha Dixit and Amaya Bhagat with their Equity and Equality pitch, and Ella Greer and Phoebe Goldberg with their Everything Saddle pitch will each share a semi-finalist award. In the competition’s opening round, 19 fourth grade students representing 12 projects were selected as Level 1 finalists. In addition, several students have also been named finalists and semi-finalists in the Ohio Pitch Competition.

The Orange High School Flying Circuits Robotics Team represented the District proudly at the recent FIRST Robotics Competition Championship in Houston, earning a playoff berth as part of the 7th-seeded alliance, an achievement reached by only a fraction of the competing teams. The team overcame early mechanical challenges and hit its stride as the event progressed, delivering its strongest performances of the season in the final five matches. Orange Robotics delivers
